Speak LIVE to a Puppy Trainer

We set up the  Speak LIVE to a Puppy Trainer programme many years ago and have helped many puppy owners with ‘Live’ bespoke puppy training sessions with an experienced dog trainer. Now because of the Covid19 Coronavirus quarantine we are all experiencing this method of training is the only option and a must for every owner with a young puppy so they don’t miss out on vital information at this crucial time in a puppy’s development, it is so important to not let problems develop at this stage.

Speak LIVE to a Puppy Trainer has been very popular and successful during the lockdown period so we are continuing this service on the telephone or on a video app like Whatsapp or Facetime, it is a very convenient, cost effective way of helping clients and is easily arranged. Our unique puppy training service provides you with training advice and support from an experienced expert with many years experience to make the early weeks of bringing a puppy into your home a successful experience. After the puppy arrives, many people are soon overwhelmed and get confused by all the conflicting information available on-line or in books. Our clients want to speak to and where possible see a real person who is a puppy training expert to help them through some of the difficulties that will undoubtedly occur when a new puppy arrives in their home. We have been providing high quality puppy training, help and advice for the past 35 years in owner’s homes and are now offering a similar service by phone and with video on Whatsapp or Facetime apps.

What problems can you help me with?

The most common problem that people call us for help with is toilet training, closely followed by sleeping arrangements to keep puppy quiet at night. Biting or mouthing behaviours especially when children are getting hurt by the puppy’s sharp needle teeth are also important issues that need urgent attention. Stealing and destructive chewing are not uncommon and learning how to successfully discourage these behaviours is very important to building a good relationship with your new puppy. Attention seeking behaviour is also very common and learning how to give appropriate positive attention is important for the whole family. Many puppy owners use the Puppy Helpline to discuss their puppy’s behaviour with an expert to help them feel confident about their approach to it’s early training and ‘nip’ potential problems in the bud. We also offer online help for older dogs with behaviour problems, call or email us to discuss any severe behaviour or aggression problems.
